1.- Bill Chadwick (Oregon State U.): recoge las teoría intercultural como Face Negotiation de Goffman y de Brown and Levinson, también se puede considerar una teoría interpersonal.

2.- Bob Craig (U. Colorado, Boulder): relacionado con la teoría retórica, sitúa un campo interdisciplinar en torno a la argumentación y la teoría crítica, otro de estudios culturales y el tercero de estudios feministas.

a) En este campo hay pocas introducciones, más sociedad y grupos de investigación o colaboración. Incluye también aquí alguna sede especializada en evaluación de recursos web.

b) Como estudios culturales Craig cita las siguientes sociedades y directorios:
Illuminations (Basado firmemente en pensamiento de la escuela de Francfort, este sitio mantiene una colección de artículos, de extractos, y de capítulos de muchos escritores contemporáneos y sobre de la teoría crítica.)
